The surplus funds the work of the Divya Prem Sewa Mission, the charitable trust that owns the campus.

What is not in the rate
Most retreats hide their exclusions in the small print. We list them here, in plain English, so the wellness retreat tariff Haridwar guests see is the only number that matters.
- International or domestic airfare into Delhi or Dehradun
- Indian e-Visa fee (a small fixed sum, paid to the Indian government)
- Travel insurance, which we strongly recommend you carry for any India trip
- Personal incidentals, telephone, laundry beyond the daily allowance
- Tipping (entirely optional; a single pooled tip box at reception)
- Excursions outside the campus (Har-ki-Paudi aarti, Rishikesh day trip, organised on request at cost)
- Stays of one or two extra nights for non-programme companions in the same room (covered at the companion rate)
Bringing a partner or a child
Non-Participating Partner
Welcome at fifty percent of the day-rate, sharing the same room. Joins the Sattvic meals, the yoga, the gardens, the meditation hall. Does not receive the programme therapies. Many guests bring a partner along precisely because the Dincharya is easier to honour together than alone.
Children Under Twelve
Stay free with parents in the same room. We provide a folding bed, child-friendly meals from the same kitchen, and a quieter pace if needed. We do not run children’s activities, so the retreat suits children who are happy with gardens, books, and parents nearby.
Both Partners on Programme
When both partners join their own programme, each pays the full day-rate. Many guests book this way and it is one of the deepest configurations of a stay, two parallel paths under one physician’s view.
Clear, fair terms

Deposit to Confirm
Twenty-five percent of the total stay value, paid by bank transfer in INR, USD, EUR, GBP, or by card and Razorpay. Booking confirms the moment the deposit clears.

Balance on Arrival
The remaining seventy-five percent settles on arrival day, by transfer, card, or Razorpay. Cash also accepted. A formal receipt is issued for the full amount.

Cancellation Window
More than thirty days before arrival, full deposit refund. Fifteen to thirty days, fifty percent refund. Inside fifteen days, the deposit holds, although we routinely roll it forward to a future stay within twelve months. Medical emergencies are handled case by case.

Donations
Many guests choose to donate to the Divya Prem Sewa Mission in addition to the stay. Donations are tax-exempt for Indian residents under section 80(G), and accepted from overseas under FCRA. Reception can issue receipts.

Why are some programme rates “on enquiry”?
Stress Management and Pain Management protocols vary more from guest to guest than Body Detox or Weight Management. Therapy density, oil grade, and the discipline mix all shift with the medical history. The physician needs to see the case before quoting, so the tariff is issued in writing within twenty-four hours of the intake call.

Are taxes included in the day-rate?
Yes. The wellness retreat tariff Haridwar guests pay is inclusive of all Indian taxes, GST and any state levies. The number on your quote is the number you pay, full stop.

Do you offer single-occupancy pricing?
Yes. The published day-rate is single-occupancy in the Garden Wing. Twin occupancy with a partner on programme is priced at the full day-rate for both. Single occupancy in larger tiers carries the same per-guest day-rate as quoted.

Are there seasonal price differences?
No. Divine Holistic Health Retreat holds a single year-round tariff. Other retreats charge more in October to March and less in monsoon. We do not, because the programme value does not change with the calendar.

What about insurance reimbursement?
Some private health policies cover wellness or rehabilitative stays. We can issue an itemised invoice on the campus letterhead with treatment codes, signed by the attending physician, for submission to your insurer at home. Approval rests entirely with the insurer.

Can the rate go down for a longer stay?
For stays of twenty-one nights or more, the physician sometimes recommends a slightly lower day-rate for the final week, as therapy density tapers in the integration phase. This is a clinical decision, not a discount, and only applies where it genuinely fits the protocol.
